Egypt Criss Declares That She’s Quitting ‘Rising up Hip Hop’

Egypt Criss and Sam Mattick have been the speak of reality television collection, Rising up Hip Hop, all season. Now, after an altercation following a latest episode, Criss, who’s the daughter of Salt-n-Pepa‘s Pepa Denton, says she is “resigning” from the present.

The connection between Criss and Mattick has arguably been the largest storyline of Rising Up Hip Hop throughout this season. They’ve been controversial as a result of lots of Criss’ associates and fellow forged members should not followers of Mattick. All season, they’ve been attempting to vet Sam to verify he’s who he says he’s and cares about her.

Most of the forged members say that Criss, who was barely in any drama for the reason that present’s inception, has modified since she received with Mattick. Despite all of the naysayers, the Criss and Mattick have remained collectively and appear to be going robust, regardless of all of the issues that everybody has stated about them.

Issues reached a boiling level on final week’s episode when Criss had a bodily confrontation along with her forged member Briana Latrise. The 2 have been at odds this season as a result of Latrise doesn’t like Mattick. When Criss and Latrise talked about their scenario, issues received heated and Criss hit Latrise within the face. Criss and her father, Naughty By Nature’s Treach, have seemingly recorded a diss track geared toward Latrise as effectively.

She pronounces that she received’t be returning to the present

In messages on social media, Criss appears to consider she is being portrayed in a nasty gentle on the present. In a tweet and Instagram submit, Criss stated that she received’t be again.

She wrote on each platforms, “I respect myself sufficient to stroll away from something that now not serves me, grows me or makes me glad. It’s time for me to rise from the ashes from being falsely represented to you, the folks I really like most, which is why I’ve determined to resign from Rising Up Hip Hop.”

Mattick announced back in February that he wouldn’t be on the present’s subsequent season. Criss and Mattick aren’t the one forged members to say they’re quitting the present. Father-son duo Romeo and Grasp P each say they won’t be returning. Denton has not introduced if she could be again or not if Criss does in truth not return.
